maramaps

How it works

Create a running route poster from Strava or GPX.

Maramaps turns a Strava activity or GPX file into a custom running route poster. Choose the map style, tune the stats, and download a high-resolution PNG for print, Instagram, stories, race recaps, or charity posts.

From GPS route to finished artwork in a few clicks.

01

Choose a route

Connect Strava or upload a GPX file from Garmin, Apple Watch, COROS, Suunto, or another GPS app.

02

Design the poster

Pick a map style, adjust the route colour, add stats, and shape the layout for print or social.

03

Download the artwork

Export a PNG for Instagram, stories, race recaps, charity posts, or a print-ready keepsake.

Built for runners, races, and memories.

Use Maramaps for marathon posters, long-run keepsakes, race-day graphics, fundraising updates, or simple route art from a favourite trail. The app works in your browser, so GPX parsing and poster creation happen client-side.

You can start with Strava, or skip account connection entirely and upload a GPX file. The finished output is a PNG that can be saved, printed, or shared wherever your run deserves a little spotlight.

Common questions

Can I use Maramaps without Strava?

Yes. Upload a GPX file directly if your activity came from Garmin, Apple Watch, COROS, Suunto, or another running app.

What can I export?

You can download route posters as PNG files sized for print, Instagram posts, stories, and other social layouts.

Does my GPX route leave the browser?

GPX parsing and poster creation happen client-side. The app uses Mapbox tiles for the map background, but your uploaded GPX file is not stored by Maramaps.

Where do I get a GPX file?

Most fitness platforms provide GPX export. Start with the GPX export guide if you need the exact steps.
