Need help with Maramaps? This page covers the common things: Strava connection, GPX uploads, exports, privacy, and disconnecting your account.

Using Strava
Connect with Strava from the Maramaps home screen, then choose one of your own activities. Maramaps uses read-only access so it can load your activity route and stats for poster creation.
- If you cannot connect, check that pop-ups or browser privacy settings are not blocking the Strava authorization flow.
- If an activity is missing, confirm that it appears in your Strava account and that you granted the requested activity permission.
- You can disconnect at any time using the "Disconnect from Strava" button in Maramaps.
Uploading GPX files
GPX files are parsed in your browser and are not uploaded to Maramaps servers. If you need help getting a GPX file, see the guide below.

Exports and downloads
Maramaps exports PNG images. Social formats are intended for screen sharing, while A4 is intended for higher-resolution print use.
- If a mobile download does not appear, check your browser downloads folder or photo/file picker.
- If a map export looks wrong, try refreshing the page and exporting again after the preview has fully rendered.
- The preview is the source of truth: exports should match the visible poster preview.
Privacy and data
Maramaps is designed for personal poster creation. Strava data is shown only back to the authenticated user and is not used for coaching, leaderboard analysis, advertising, or AI/ML training.
